Fall Classes

Registration for fall term watercolor classes at the New Art Center will open in July.

Classes offered in the fall:

Beginning Watercolor Classes, in-person, Tuesdays 12:45 PM to 2:45 PM, 5 sessions beginning September 29

Watercolor Explorations, Intermediate Watercolor Classes, in-person, Tuesdays 9:30 AM to 12 PM, 5 sessions beginning September 29

Watercolor Explorations, Intermediate Watercolor Classes, ONLINE, Mondays, 12:30 PM to 3 PM, 6 sessions beginning September 28

My watercolor classes focus on techniques in painting still life, landscape and botanical subjects. Demonstrations for beginner classes are done in-person at the beginning of class. Demonstrations for intermediate classes will combine live demos and new pre-recorded videos that students can watch as often as they wish. Independent project sessions for intermediate students give students a chance to develop projects of their choice. Students who prefer more directed study will have access to more than 50 video demos in the Tutorials section of this website. Students who have to miss a class can work from videos on their own time and submit images of work in progress for feedback at a time convenient for them.

Techniques for adding acrylic ink to watercolor are offered in separate workshops and to private and semi-private students.
